**About the Role**
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional with a passion for student support and education. As the Honours Officer, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate and detailed information to prospective students and supporting the Honours Team Coordinator in delivering student support and enrichment initiatives. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative, supportive team culture within the Learning and Teaching Unit, while also contributing to the ongoing success and growth of the MDHS Honours programs.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Deliver expert service and advice to stakeholders of the Learning and Teaching Unit within agreed service standards, referral protocols and a framework of excellence in customer service.
- Perform all aspects of the admissions process within specified turn-around times and report any difficulties to the Honours Team Coordinator.
- Contribute to the organisation of honours enrichment activities such as orientation, Honours Student Conference, Honours Alumni Mentoring program and Academic Skills workshops to enhance student experience, and actively participate in the Honours Alumni Mentoring Program and University Open Day.

**Who We Are Looking For**
We're seeking an individual who can establish and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders, adapt to changing demands, and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. You should possess excellent computer skills, including experience with spreadsheets and enterprise databases, and be able to implement and advise on established policies and procedures. Demonstrated experience in business process development and documentation is also highly valued.

You will also have:

- A relevant degree with experience within the higher education sector; or a combination of relevant experience and education/ training.
- Demonstrated strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
- Demonstrated high-level organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multi-task to meet deadlines and to use initiative in problem-solving.
- Demonstrated experience and commitment to providing a high level of customer service.
