**About the role**

This position partners with our Wembley Residential Aged Care team to deliver a lifestyle program that supports the holistic wellbeing of our residents. Working with our Pastoral Practitioner this role helps people their best life by providing choice, encouraging independence and enhancing creativity. This valuable role creates a sense of community between families and loved ones and the Mercy Care team for meaningful daily support.

**About you**

Most importantly you’ll understand the impact taking a few extra moments to connect with someone can make. You’ll be genuinely caring, respectful and love to hear the stories that develop over a person’s life journey with the ability to build authentic relationships that support individuals needs. Your key experience to equip you to succeed in this role will include:

- A relevant Certificate or Diploma in a related discipline
- Prior experience in the aged care sector
- Understanding of aged care compliance with a focus on quality care
- Excellent time management and documentation skills
- Demonstrated communication with a diverse range of individuals
- COVID and Influenza vaccinations are preferred but not required
- National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months)
