**Job Description**:
AEC is a purpose-built Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care facility with up-to-date equipment and a dedicated team of Emergency & Critical Care Veterinarians and Nurses practicing exceptionally high standards of patient care. They are a knowledgeable, approachable and highly supportive team.

We are looking for vibrant and passionate **Animal Attendants** to join our team in a Part-time or Casual capacity.

**About You**
- Certificate II or III (or equivalent) in Animal Studies preferable but not essential
- A strong work ethic and enjoy working as part of a team
- The confidence and initiative to work autonomously yet lean on your team as needed
- Ability to follow directions, multi-task and navigate within a busy workplace
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
- Exemplary organisational skills and a high attention to detail
- The ability to work weekends and Public Holidays
- A passion to learn and the desire to develop your skills

**The Role**

Position involves general Kennel Hand duties including assisting nurses with:

- Maintenance and hygiene of the hospital
- Feeding, exercising, and TLC for patients
- Caring for wildlife
- Gentle restraint of patients for treatments
- Answering phones
- Stock handling
- General hospital tasks
