**Australia’s first Heart Hospital - opening 2023**

**Our journey**

The **Victorian Heart Hospital** will be Australia’s first dedicated heart hospital and is almost complete. Providing a full range of ambulatory

and inpatient cardiac care services, it will feature a unique, patient centred model of care and will play a key role in advancing research and teaching, being home to the new Victorian Heart Institute.

Our Support Services team is key to the smooth running of the hospital. Without our Food Services, Environmental Services and Patient Services colleagues, we'd be unable to provide our patients and their families with the support and care they deserve.

**Help us recruit**

To help us find the people we need, we're now looking for an experienced Recruitment Specialist to join our established recruitment team

for six months. By joining our team, you will thrive partnering with key stakeholders in our Support Services team and deliver end-to-end recruitment support for front line roles in their teams.

**A day in the life**

If youre appointed, you'll be kept busy recruiting suitable talent for three key roles:

- Environmental services (cleaning and infection prevention focus);
- Food services (helping ensure our patients can enjoy appetising, nutritious meals); and
- Patient services (helping our patients move around the hospital during their stay with us).

**What you bring**

In addition to a genuine passion for recruitment, you can also demonstrate:

- significant volume recruitment and selection experience
- ability to manage competing priorities effectively to achieve business outcomes
- outstanding communication skills, written and verbal
- a strong work ethic underpinned by a positive and proactive approach

While knowledge of the health services sector will be highly regarded, more important is your respect for everyone you deal with and your drive to make a positive impact. The role will be appointed on a fixed term basis for six months. We're ideally looking for you to work full time hours be we could consider a minimum of four days per week. Our team works in a hybrid model.
