**POSITION DETAILS**
**Position Title: Senior Recruitment Consultant**
**PURPOSE OF THE POSITION**
- Work within Deivian Care Services Vision, Mission and Values.
- Assist in the positive promotion of the Mission and services in all contacts with the community and stakeholders.
- Assist in the dissemination of Deivian’s message to the broader community, to enhance the community’s understanding and inclusion of people with a disability.
- Participate in building a team of high-quality staff and volunteers.
- Act in accordance with Deivian’s policies and procedures always.
- Always aim to “make a difference”.

**ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION**
- Ability to complete an end-to-end recruitment cycle.
- Proven ability to source good quality employees and match them for the right tasks.
- Familiarity with legal and compliance implications involved in recruitment and other HR policies.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Identify and analyze the organization's recruitment needs locally and internationally.
- Negotiating and setting wage rates and conditions for prospective employees based on the SCHADS award that applies to the community service industry.
- Ensure all compliance requirements are met during the process of onboarding. This involves compiling different certificates related to aged care, disability, First Aid, CPR, etc.
- Coordinating with the payroll & admin team for documentation and maintaining employee offboarding data.
- Responsible for creating contracts and sub-contracts for workers.
- Creating and maintaining recruitment reports that reflect onboarding and offboarding details monthly.
- Scheduling staff inductions for employees in collaboration with the Training and Development Coordinator.
- Advising management on the development and placement of support workers.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders from time to time.
- Oversee and manage the organization's compliance with relevant laws & regulations.
**SELECTION CRITERIA**
1. **Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in management, Human Resources, Business or
relevant fields
2. **Knowledge/Desirable Experience**:
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in Human Resources.
- Able to lead cultural change required to make Deivian Care Services to more of a customer focused business.
- Relevant knowledge and experience in the human resources practices and functions.
- Adequate knowledge of job portals and recruitment tools.
- Ability to work within a small team environment, exercise a high degree of autonomy,
- manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
- Advanced skills with Microsoft office suite of programs.
- Advanced interpersonal skills, including engaging and developing effective working
relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

$80,000 + Superannuation
