The roleThe Briefing Liaison Officer is to negotiate and consult with senior management and officers across the Department as well as co-ordinate and manage the preparation of briefing notes, discussion papers, correspondence and advice. You will assist in problem solving arising from the provision of conflicting information, whilst also maintaining sensitivity and confidentiality with all stakeholders.
The successful personYour strong time management skills will be beneficial to the Briefing Liaising Officer role to successfully prioritise work and achieve organisational goals. You will have the ability acquire an in depth knowledge of the organisation, functions, activities and policies of the Department of Health and Corporate Services Divisions. In addition you will have demonstrated experience in managing high volumes of incoming and outgoing correspondence.
