The Project Specialist is the heartbeat of our solar and battery installation team for Origin Zero. You will ensure the success of each project from conception to completion and will be instrumental in driving the adoption of sustainable technologies, contributing directly to our mission of creating a greener future. Your coordination skills will not only streamline internal processes but also strengthen our relationships with external stakeholders, solidifying our commitment to excellence in renewable energy. This role is vital in propelling our organisation towards the forefront of environmental innovation.

**What will this role involve?**
- The delivery of solar projects, ensuring a successful project execution from inception to handover in a safe and methodical manner.
- Manage client interactions and relationships, coordinate with internal and external teams, and oversee all project phases.
- Review project costs, schedules and procurement activities, ensuring projects stay within budget and on schedule.
- Oversee contractor and consultant engagements, ensuring project compliance with regulations and contracts and facilitate smooth handovers.
- Facilitate site inspections and contribute to the development of accurate project cost estimates
- Engage with contractors ensuring HSE and quality standards

**What are we looking for?**
- Experience coordinating technical projects, programs or field services with relevant previous experience in managing solar and battery installations.
- Qualified electrician or tertiary qualification electrical engineering.
- Passionate about renewable energy and eager to learn about emerging technologies.
- Proven experience coordinating with external stakeholders such as suppliers, councils and network providers.
- Outstanding commercial and technical communication skills both written and verbal.
