Have meaningful impact as a **Specialist III, Business Analyst**

**YOUR ROLE**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst for our Platform Services DMS Inbound & Storage team. In this role as a Business Analyst your role involves translating business initiatives and requirements into features and stories across multiple releases and brands. This facilitates harmonizing our business practices (including products, processes, services, and functions) to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

You’ll bridge the gap between IT and the business by using analytics to assess processes, determine requirements, and provide recommendations. Additionally, you’ll manage the integrity of the agreed-upon business solution throughout delivery, addressing both business and technology needs. The team’s focus on governance and optimization will impact various functions within IAG AU & NZ, including distribution, product, underwriting, operations, finance, and claims.

Your role involves driving harmonization goals for features, ensuring they align with design and delivery stories. You’ll provide guidance to business stakeholders, escalate issues to Design or Delivery Leads when necessary, and work closely with Value Stream, Design, and Delivery streams. Additionally, you’ll establish relationships with various roles, maintain artifacts for business initiatives, and contribute to the successful delivery of the Enterprise platform stack. Your commitment to adhering to governance frameworks and promoting a proactive risk culture will be essential.

This is a permanent role based near any of our major centres in NZ or AU.

**ABOUT YOU**

You should be a great team player with following skills and experience:
- ECM experience would be extremely advantageous
- Proven extensive experience as Business analyst
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills.
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work.
- Ability to work in complex projects in an ever-changing environment.
- Advanced communication skills
- Strong documentation skills
- An understanding of product management and agile methodology disciplines
- Insurance industry experience is ideal
- Project management experience will be added advantage
