**About the Role**

We are seeking a **Work Placement Advisor** to join us. This key role will focus on organising and managing work placement experiences for students in our vocational and higher education courses, primarily in early childhood education, counselling, community services, and ageing. The Work Placement Advisor will be responsible for building strong relationships with host organisations, ensuring a smooth placement process, and delivering an exceptional experience for both students and placement hosts.

This position will be based at our** Sydney**campus.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Industry Partnerships_
- Build and maintain positive relationships with host organisations to enhance future industry engagement opportunities.
- Identify and engage host organisations that meet the needs of our courses and students.
- Serve as the main contact between EDU and host organisations, troubleshooting any issues that arise.
- Work Placement Management:_
- Ensure timely placement of students with appropriate work placement hosts, in line with term deadlines.
- Provide ongoing support to students and host organisations through regular check-ins during each placement.
- Supply students with all necessary information and resources regarding their placement.
- Collect and manage mandatory documentation to ensure compliance with industry and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate Workplace Assessor visits in a timely manner.
- Deliver placement orientation workshops to students.
- Identify and report student risks or concerns to the Manager as needed.
- Maintain data for reporting, including feedback from host organisations.

**Education, Experience, and Skills**:

- Certificate IV or higher qualification (preferred).
- Previous experience in placing students within the VET and Higher Education sectors is highly regarded.
- A strong understanding of educational processes within the vocational and higher education sectors.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders and maintain effective networks.
- Strong administrative skills, with experience maintaining documents and records.
