ICT Asset Manager - RFQ-ASD-54-2023 - SOW 1 - Rereleased
The ICT Asset Manager will be a highly organised, dynamic, outcome orientated individual with excellent communication skills who is confident to take responsibility for the effective management and control of a large fleet of ICT hardware, including some software.
The ICT Asset Manager is responsible under broad direction to help shape and establish a mature process for controlling of hardware and software through its lifecycle from when it is acquired to final disposal.
The Specified Person will be expected to demonstrate attributes of SFIA Level of Responsibility 4.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Maintain the asset control of an existing fleet of ICT hardware and software procured by the Section.
- Engage with hardware vendors/s to ensure replacement parts are ordered and delivered.
- Engage with hardware vendor/s to maintain and update hardware or software on the current sustainment and maintenance contract register. Ensuring the Commonwealth continues to receive best value for money.
- Respond and undertake periodic assets checks when required.
- Review the current Section's ICT hardware disposal plan and implement improvements. Maintain the disposal plan ensuring that hardware is disposed IAW with ASD compliance for destruction of classified configuration items.
- Contribute to the renewal of Vendor ICT hardware and software Support and Maintenance contracts

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE NEEDED**
- Experience in the manage and control of ICT hardware and software as configuration items (Essential)
- Experience in engaging with ICT hardware and software vendors in relation to contractual obligations for replacement of components. (Essential)
- Knowledge of ICT hardware such as servers, storage and networking (Desirable)
- Australian Citizenship and a TSPV security clearance is essential.
