**Group Facilitator**

**Albert Road Private Hospital is seeking experienced Allied Health professionals/Registered Nurses to join our team. Casual roles available with flexible shifts across 7 days of the week**

**About the role**

In this role you will have the opportunity to work in one of our various inpatient units. We offer inpatient therapy to a range of people, from Adolescent to Older Adult, including Addictions and General specialties. You will be able to collaborate with a diverse multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standard of care and support is provided to our patients.

The group program focuses on skill building informed by evidence-based group therapy, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT). Group members will be empowered to develop effective coping strategies to improve mental health, foster recovery and achieve a full and meaningful life. Each group session uses evidence-based techniques: group supportive psychotherapy, skills building and physical movement training.

**These roles will suit a Registered Nurse, Clinical Psychologist, Occupational Therapist (APHRA registered) or Social Worker with Professional Body Membership**

**About You**

The ability to plan and organise skills groups, along with a commitment to excellence in the delivery of healthcare services to patients seeking mental health treatment, will also be key to all these positions.
- Current registration (appropriate to discipline)
- Minimum of one-year post-graduate experience in Mental Health and Group Facilitation
- Training and experience in evidence-based group therapy (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT, trauma-informed)
- Able to plan, organise and prioritise workload to meet deadlines efficiently.
- Ability to facilitate and deliver skill group content with creativity and flexibility.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced multidisciplinary team environment.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to engage and interact with people with mental illness.
- Commitment to excellence in the delivery of healthcare services to people seeking mental health treatment.
- Commitment to promote and uphold the ‘Ramsay Way’ core values.
