About the Portfolio

The Operations Portfolio enables an integrated, enterprise-wide delivery for best practice student and staff experiences. The Portfolio incorporates the following business units: Enterprise Projects and Business Performance (EPBP), Communications, People, Information and Technology Services (ITS), Office of the Chief Operating Officer, Procurement and Vietnam Operations.

The Portfolio houses significant drivers and delivery components across the staff and student journeys and enables the overall experience for both groups. The Portfolio is integral in bringing the RMIT strategy to life, across the globe. Each of these functions supports the global operations of the University both directly as well as through its controlled entities.

The Information Technology Services (ITS) function, provides RMIT University with current and emerging Technology systems and services. The Role

As an Intelligent Automation Analyst, you will contribute to analysing, designing, and implementing automation solutions using Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness within RMIT University.

This role involves working closely with different stakeholders to understand business processes, identifying automation opportunities, and implementing RPA solutions.

You will work in collaboration with cross-functional teams to support the delivery of automation solutions.

The Automation Analyst will also provide support to the Automation Specialists to monitor the performance of automation solutions in production.

Skills & Experience- Hands on person with a good technical aptitude with the ability to contribute in the development and maintenance of Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Intelligent Process Automation and Workflow Automation solutions, understanding the intricacies of Production automation.- Demonstrated technical experience using automation platforms such as Automation Anywhere and Power Automate.- Understanding of common automation platforms such as automation platforms such as Automation Anywhere and Power Automate. Additional knowledge on other RPA and automation tools will be considered an advantage.- Hands-on experience contributing to delivering Automation solutions that have resulted in business benefits, risk reduction, and process improvement.- Previous experience producing automation documentation such as Process Design Documents (PDD) and Solution Design Documents (SDD)- Knowledge of other coding languages will be an advantage (e.g. Python, C++, Java, JavaScript)- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and an excellent team player.- Minimum of 1 to 2 years experience in a similar role- Self-starter who takes ownership and can adjust their own behaviour in different scenarios and is capable of multi-tasking to meet deadlines.- Strong analytical lateral thinker and able to think outside the square.
