**What You Will Be Working On**
- **Developing and Implementing Educational Programs**: Lead the development and implementation of educational initiatives focused on community preparedness and safety messages. Through innovative programs, empower the community with the knowledge and skills to respond to and manage emergency situations effectively.
- **Engaging with the Community**: Conduct community workshops, meetings, and events to deliver educational safety initiatives. Foster meaningful partnerships with community organisations, local businesses, and stakeholders to enhance the reach and impact of educational promotions.
- **Ensuring High-Quality Services**: Provide expert advice on hazard preparedness initiatives and contribute to community safety and resilience. Collaborate within the team to deliver high-quality services and achieve positive outcomes for stakeholders.
- **Promoting a Safe and Constructive Culture**: Promote a strong culture of responsibility for safety and ensure controls are in place to address health, safety, and environmental risks. Contribute to a safe and constructive culture by engaging in collaborative efforts and modelling safe work behaviours.

**About You**
- **Qualifications and Experience**: Relevant qualification with experience in a similar role, and/or demonstrated experience in a related field. Knowledge of community issues, particularly in emergency management, is essential.
- **Communication Skills**: Strong communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for engaging with stakeholders and delivering educational programs effectively.
- **Project Management**: Ability to manage multiple tasks within set timeframes and resource budgets. Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills are required.
