Greater Shepparton has a population of approximately 65,000, and an expenditure budget in excess of $118 million. The population is culturally diverse with 9.9% of residents being born overseas. The area has excellent education, recreation, cultural, social and health facilities and tourism is a developing focus for the region.

- Greater Shepparton City Council is looking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join its Civil Infrastructure Maintenance department. This is a fantastic opportunity to come on board as a Works Officer 03 and join our experienced team as a permanent employee. In return, as an employee you will be entitled to a nine day fortnight, access to staff health and wellbeing programs and extensive professional development.- Council is looking for someone with a positive attitude and is a team player who will take pride in doing the best job they can for the citizens of Greater Shepparton. All Council outdoor staff can perform roles within other work teams from time to time, providing opportunity to gain experience in other areas of work.- This role is within the sealed roads team who predominately work on the sealed road network and requires the following experience and skills in:
- Asphalting
- Pothole Patching
- Crack Sealing- Traffic control
- Construction Induction (White Card)
- Truck licence
