- The Manager, Procurement Policy, will contribute to the management of the Policy Unit to provide a framework for Tasmanian Government procurement policy and purchasing outcomes.**Hours per fortnight**:
Up to 73.5 - hours flexible - talk to us about how this could work for you. We are open to considering a range of flexible work options including part-time hours.

**Duties**:
The Manager, Procurement Policy, will contribute to the management of the Policy Unit to provide a framework for Tasmanian Government procurement policy and purchasing outcomes.

In the context of the selection criteria, to be successful in the position applicants will have:

- the ability to define complex problems and identify possible solutions, using initiative and judgement;
- high level communication skills, including the ability to provide authoritative advice with respect to complex matters, to both internal and external stakeholders across Government and industry;
- the ability to manage their own and team outputs and assist in leading a diverse team to deliver outcomes; and
- skills in understanding legislative frameworks, compliance and policy development.

**Highly Desirable Requirements**:
Completion or partial completion of relevant tertiary or industry qualifications, and/or professional affiliation.
