australia perth permanent negotiable**Job Title**:Investigator** (Multiple Contract Investigative Assignments - Durations Varied).
**Location**: Perth based with the ability to travel intrastate as required.
**Reports to**: Investigative Operations Manager.

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conducting investigations into allegations of workplace misconduct, including but not limited to sexual harassment, bullying, discrimination, and policy violations.
- Drafting and implementing investigation plans which are focused upon delivering procedurally fair investigations at pace.
- Gathering evidence through interviews, document reviews, exhibit collection, surveillance, and other investigative techniques.
- Analysing information to determine the credibility and extent of evidence in relation to each allegation, and forming clear findings based on the standard of proof in civil matters, namely “balance of probabilities”.
- Collaborate closely with client’s internal stakeholders to ensure investigations are conducted in compliance with legislative requirements and internal policies.
- Produce comprehensive investigation reports which provide clear findings and recommendations for our clients.
- Provide advice to our clients in support of the welfare needs of those persons involved in our investigations.
- Provide prevention advice, including corrective actions and policy improvement recommendations to clients, to mitigate the reoccurrence of future workplace misconduct.

**Qualifications**:

- Certificate III - Investigative Services (minimum) or superior investigative qualification.
- Licensed (or progressing) as an Investigator under the WA Security and Related Activities (Control) Act 1996.
- Current WA Police Clearance Certificate.

**Experience**:

- In conducting workplace misconduct investigations.
- In conducting criminal investigations (desirable, however not essential).
- In conducting comprehensive and high-quality investigative interviews using recognised interview techniques, aligned with contemporary standards.
- Conducting investigations which ensure confidentiality of sensitive and personal information, and with strict adherence to Australian privacy laws.
- Familiarity with contemporary case management systems and methodologies.
- Excellent report writing skills including the ability to provide procedurally fair, robust findings and recommendations.
- Experience working with law enforcement agencies or regulatory bodies.
