**About the Position**

The position reports to the Centre Director. As an Early Childhood Educator you are expected to be an active member of a team which provides high quality early childhood education and care to children.

This includes:

- Developing strong relationships with children at the service.
- Developing strong relationships that support and partner with families.
- Implementing and always uphold the policies and associated procedures and practices of the service; and
- Working with other staff towards continuous improvement in all areas of the service's operations and service.
- Quality care is provided to meet the individual and group needs of young children in a respectful, supportive, equitable and inclusive manner.
- A vibrant, interesting, varied, and appropriate children's program is developed and implemented to meet the ongoing needs of the children, in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework.

**To succeed in this role, you will need**:

- Diploma or Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education and Care.
- Demonstrated and extensive knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and Education and Care Services National Regulations.
- High level written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent personal presentation
- Confidence working with families and the local community
- Current Working with Children check
- Current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR and First Aid Certificates
- Successful completion of child safe training

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $30.00 - $37.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 38 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
