**About us**

Legal Aid NSW helps people experiencing disadvantage with their legal problems. We can help people with criminal, family and civil law issues. We give legal advice, represent people at courts and tribunals and provide family dispute resolution. Assistance is available over the telephone or at one of our 27 offices.

**About the Role**

In this role, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, day to day management, monitoring and reporting on the systems and processes that support cyber security and ICT risk management across Legal Aid NSW.

**About you**

You have extensive relevant experience implementing and managing cyber security controls and incident response in a medium to large organisation. You are well verse in developing and managing mechanisms for overall ICT risk governance.

You have excellent communication skills and demonstrate capability to engage cooperatively with executive and board stakeholders, ICT leadership peers, as well as other internal and external stakeholders. You enjoy leading your team to deliver improvement outcomes in a dynamic agile environment with a great level of autonomy. You are keen to work for a diverse team, and play a key active role as a member of our ICT leadership team**.**

**The essential requirements for this role**

You must:

- have relevant tertiary and/or professional qualifications in ICT, information security or related disciplines or
- significant demonstrated experience in cyber security and ICT risk management across medium to large size organisations.
- be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 before you start work with us
- be willing to do a Criminal Record Check
- hold Australian or NZ citizenship or Australian Permanent Residency
