- Remuneration: $138,171 - $146,613 (+ 17% superannuation and leave loading)

**Why Your Role Matters**:
The Complex Case Manager plays a central role for the Student Wellbeing Reference Group (SWRG), a University wide working group, in supporting students with complex wellbeing needs through the SWRG process, as outlined in the Student Safety & Wellbeing Policy and Procedure. Serving as a key interface across all University Faculties and Divisions, the incumbent will be the primary contact for students and staff engaged by an SWRG, ensuring effective communication with the student to facilitate the coordination of support services. The Complex Case Manager also manages the undertakings of the SWRG along with the SWRG Chair, including required investigation work and close engagement with relevant or impacted academic and professional staff.

**Who You Are**:

- We are seeking a skilled and experienced case manager, passionate about making a meaningful impact in supporting students here at UNSW. Superior communications skills are essential as you will serve as the primary point of contact liaising with a range of stake holders, leading investigations and preparing comprehensive briefs. You will also be comfortable interpreting various policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and the maintenance of accurate records._
- A relevant tertiary qualification, or an equivalent level of knowledge, gained through a combination of education, training and/or experience.
- Extensive experience in managing or investigating complex cases involving multiple stakeholders in a large and complex organisation.
- Demonstrated extensive skills and experience in conducting investigations, including developing investigation and risk plans, securing evidence and interviewing witnesses, experts and others.
- Ability to draw objective conclusions based upon a fair assessment and analysis of the evidence gathered, preparing detailed investigation reports and maintain accurate records of the investigation.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to advise and communicate effectively, and influencing a wide range of diverse stakeholders, including presentations and training as well as mediation and conflict resolution in complex environments.
- Demonstrated superior sound judgment and an advanced level of emotional intelligence, especially in relation to dealing with highly sensitive, confidential, and potentially controversial matters with tact, sensitivity, and respect.
- An understanding of and commitment to UNSW’s aims, objectives and values in action, together with relevant policies and guidelines.
- Knowledge of health & safety (psychosocial and physical) responsibilities and commitment to attending relevant health and safety training.
