Join a National manufacturer in the Eastern suburbs as the Payroll Officer handling the end to end management of the weekly and monthly payroll.

**_Your role will include but not limited too:_**
- Processing weekly and monthly payroll for 200 staff
- Remitting payroll taxes and government reporting
- Preparing monthly, quarterly and year-end payroll reporting
- Determining payroll liabilities through the accurate calculation of employee salaries, taxes, superannuation, leave entitlements and workers compensation payments
- Comply with all local, state, and federal laws regarding finances, payroll, tax filings, and reporting
- Generate monthly, and annual reporting on earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, insurances
- Manage the set-up of new employee information and accounts
- Manage timekeeping software and systems
- Review and improve payroll policies and procedures on an ongoing basis
- End to end process of new hires and terminations

**_ To be successful in the role you will have_**:

- Proven experience as a payroll officer (2 years)
- Understanding of related legislation, Industrial Awards and salary grades
- In-depth knowledge of payroll procedures.
- Experience with payroll software databases and MS Office
- Aptitude for numbers and exceptional commitment to accuracy and technical skills with excel
- Ability to work to tight timelines and prioritise tasks, capable of meeting deadlines
- Trustworthy with attention to confidentiality
- Your ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team together with your excellent communication and strong analytical and problem-solving skills with will be highly regarded.

**This role is 100% office based and does not offer WFH/hybrid options.**
