**Accountabilities include**:

- Assisting senior staff to prepare documents and correspondence that provide advice or information to departmental staff, senior management, the government, stakeholders and members of the public as required. This may include Cabinet submissions, ministerial correspondence, general correspondence, consultation papers, submissions, briefing notes and policy, strategy and research papers.
- Conducting research and provide advice on trends, best practice and performance and other matters affecting the personalised transport industry.
- Work autonomously or as part of a project team on policy development and projects to deliver improved personalised transport outcomes.
- Manage your individual work program and drive projects and tasks as specified by senior management, to ensure the completion of projects, tasks, and responsibilities by specified deadlines.
- Contribute to the development of options and recommendations on personalised transport related issues in order to develop new policies and review existing policies.
- Consult and negotiate with stakeholders and build strong relationships with stakeholders in other areas of the division and the portfolio, private sector and relevant local, state and federal government agencies on issues impacting on personalised transport policy and strategies.
- Other accountabilities and tasks as reasonably directed. This position reports to the Manager (Personalised Transport Policy) and has no direct reports.
