About the opportunity
As part of the Safety team, you will be an instrumental player in further establishing and implementing Occupational Health and Hygiene strategies across the Suburban Rail Loop.
We are seeking applicants who are able to identify, assess and advise on occupational health and hygiene matters across the works and organisation that can potentially impact human health from environmental and work-related sources.
This role requires a hands-on practitioner who is as able to operate both strategically and operationally across the program.

**Qualifications & Key Selection Criteria**:

- Extensive experience managing / supporting occupational health and hygiene requirements on major engineering and construction project including working knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act, Regulations, and other associated legislative requirements
- Proven track record influencing senior stakeholders to influence their occupational health and hygiene management behaviours and proactively drive health and hygiene initiatives
- Bachelor (or higher) qualification in Engineering, Science, OH&S, Construction, Business or related discipline is mandatory and/or extensive rail safety related experience.
- Full membership of the Australian Institute of Occupational Hygienists (AIOH) or status as a Certified Occupational Hygienist (AIOH) will be highly regarded as will demonstration of eligibility for membership
