**Your new role**

The Information and Physical Security team within the wider Technology Services department focuses on people, processes, and technology to improve the security risk posture of AustralianSuper. Our information security framework focuses on setting the information security requirements and the influence program enables colleagues in securing the Fund.

Reporting to the Manager - Cyber Resilience, you are responsible for the execution and coordination on a range of security initiatives and activities with a focus on improving colleague awareness and managing information security risks across the Fund to adequately protect the Fund and its members.

The role ensures effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to obtain buy-in across departments and actively champions continuous improvement, measuring and demonstrating risk reduction. You will manage important Fund-wide security policies, standards, and capabilities, ensuring that they remain effective and meet agreed maturity targets.

Key duties include but are not limited to:

- Support the Manager - Cyber Resilience in the timely delivery of the maintenance and change management relating to the ISMS, Policies and standards, information security influence program and governance, risk, and compliance requirements.
- Monitor, document and socialise briefing notes to communicate and raise awareness of relevant Regulatory changes.
- Design, lead and implement the delivery of the influence program that aligns with existing policies, standards, procedures and supports the program’s objectives.
- Operate and make decisions according to the Fund’s Policies, Standards and Procedures and the Fund’s Key Decision Registers and delegated authorities. Implement strong risk controls on processes, policies, and systems to ensure breaches are limited; actively build and promote a team culture of compliance and risk management awareness and appreciation.

**What you’ll need**
- 5 years+ experience within Information Technology/Security, ideally from consulting or large corporate environments.
- Demonstrated interest in and knowledge of cyber security, compliance frameworks and security standards (e.g. ISO 27001, 27002, NIST CSF, APRA CPS234 etc.).
- Experience in policy, standards and process development and improvement.
- Experience delivering training or awareness initiatives in a corporate environment.
- Experience owning, monitoring, reporting, and continuously improving, technology or security capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to create buy-in and communicate strategies and concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff.
- Ability to translate complex scenarios into easily digestible executive reports.
- Strong experience engaging with stakeholders at all levels and influencing positive outcomes.
- Collaborative, articulate and persuasive.
- Critical thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Relevant further education and certifications preferred e.g. Security+, CISA, CISM, CISSP etc.
