Are you passionate about enhancing digital experiences for students? Curtin University is looking for a talented UX Analyst to join our Student Experience team.

**Your new role**

**What You'll Do**:

- **Drive Excellence**: Provide expert advice on best practices for User Experience and the development of digital services across the University.
- **Optimise Processes**: Engage with cross-functional teams to streamline business processes and digital services, defining, achieving, and measuring desired outcomes.
- **Create Actionable Insights**: Translate business needs into clear and effective user stories, guiding the development pipeline.
- **Gather User Insights**: Use qualitative and quantitative methods, such as surveys, focus groups, and guerrilla testing, to gather valuable user insights.
- **Produce UX Artefacts**: Develop high-quality UX deliverables, including user journeys, wireframes, concept sketches, and prototypes.
- **Support Data-Driven Decisions**:Analyse data to uncover opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- **Workshop Facilitation**: Lead and facilitate engaging workshops, including brainstorming, ideation, and service design sessions, to drive collaborative problem-solving and innovative solutions.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- **Prioritisation Skills**: Ability to autonomously manage and prioritise responsibilities in a cross-functional role.
- **Communication Expertise**: Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to convey complex concepts clearly.
- **Relationship Building**: Proven ability to build effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, managing complex and sensitive issues with diplomacy.
- **Analytical Thinking**: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to address and resolve strategic problems.
- **Agile and Lean Development**: Knowledge of agile project management principles and experience with lean development methodologies.
- **Design Thinking**: Understanding of Design Thinking methodology for problem definition and requirements gathering.
- **Content Development**: Experience or knowledge in information design and content development for digital platforms.

As this is a continuing (permanent) role, you will require permanent work rights in Australia to be considered.

The three sub-teams, Digital Engagement, User Experience and Performance and Insights, work together to provide specialist support and advice across the Student Experience portfolio and wider university.
