**About the Business Unit**:
Victim Services, Support and Reform (VSSR) is part of the Police, Racing, Victims and Coordination Group within the Department of Justice and Community Safety. VSSR is responsible for the delivery and reform of services to victims of crime, placing victims at the centre of our justice system, as well as direct service provision through a range of programs including the Victims of Crime Helpline, the Victims Assistance Program, and the Child Witness Service.

**About the Role**:
The Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Intermediary Program, leading practice development and supporting the program to enhance access, inclusion and cultural safety for witnesses and their families. The Manager will implement quality assurance and continuous improvement processes, as well as ensure that practice and procedures are codified and remain current.

**Some of your duties will include**:

Ensuring timely performance of key operational functions of the Intermediary Program

*
Managing the Intermediary Programs capacity and workflows to respond to requests for Intermediary assistance in accordance with legislation, ensuring consistent practices and the integrity of data collection

*
Providing effective management for staff and contractors from multidisciplinary backgrounds drawing on best practice service standards and quality management strategies, experience in community service operations and program delivery.

**About You**:

Demonstrated values driven management skills, with a commitment to working collaboratively to achieve agreed organisational vision and objectives, utilising evidence-based quality approaches

*
Demonstrated strategic and operational experience in a major community or public sector organisation and complex frontline service delivery environments.

*
Relevant staff management experience with a demonstrated ability to develop, implement and monitor appropriate systems to underpin high quality staff supervision, debriefing, performance appraisal and performance management processes to staff.

**Qualifications**:
*
An appropriate tertiary qualification and experience in senior management roles in service delivery programs or functions are desirable.
