**The **NSW Department of Education** is seeking to create a recruitment pool for Customer Service and Admin Officers**

You will have the opportunity to be contacted about and prioritised for placement against ongoing or temporary customer service and admin vacancies that become available within our Department over the next 18 months.

**About the role**
As a Customer Service and Admin Officer, you play a pivotal role in supporting the effective operations of the business unit by providing administrative support and delivering exceptional customer service. A day in your life may involve:

- Assisting with the invoice process, organising purchase cards, managing travel requests and fleet management processes
- Updating records and databases
- Coordinating meetings and events, taking meeting minutes, organising catering

**Who we’re looking for**
- Have demonstrated experience in a customer service and/or admin role in a large organisation
- Embrace a customer-centric approach and are committed to delivering great customer service
- Can prioritise workload and manage competing demands
- Experience using different management systems, such as call centre, travel, purchase card, finance, fleet, and records management
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

**Essential requirement**:

- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education
