**The Role**

You will have extensive experience in cooking within a commercial or food media environment. You will have an eye for envisioning how the recipes, images and text will live on the page and you will work with the food team on issue themes, story briefs and styling ideas. You will work in conjunction with the delicious brand extensions where required.

You will be expected to manage the workflow of the test kitchen and deputise for the Senior Food Editor as required, stepping up to tasks assigned to you on the Senior Food Editor’s behalf.

Based between our Surry Hills office and Alexandria test kitchen and reporting to the Senior Food Editor, the role requires an organised team player who shows initiative, can juggle several tasks at once and can adapt easily to the distinct style of Australia's favourite premium food brand.

**Who you are**
- Commercial Cookery Certificate 3
- A minimum of 6 years commercial cookery or publishing experience
- An exceptional level of technical food knowledge
- Excellent recipe writing skills
- Excellent communication skills
- A creative flair and ability to conceptualise on the go
- An ability to adapt to a specific audience
- A passion for staying ahead of the trends
