**Manager Of Operations**:
We are seeking an experienced educational leader for this full time, permanent role to commence in April 2023, or later if required.

The Manager of Operations is responsible for ensuring the smooth and effective day-to-day running of the school for staff, students and the SCEGGS community. Reporting to the Director of Administration, they will be responsible for the school’s yearly calendar of events and use of facilities, including organising a range of typical school events, such as weekly assemblies, parent teacher afternoons, vaccination programs, student activities, photographs and other routine school activities. The successful applicant will also be responsible for overseeing the organisation of student excursions including risk assessments and managing variations in the school day.

As the “visible face of the school” in many interactions, the successful applicant will build relationships across the SCEGGS community with a positive can-do attitude coupled with warm, efficient and highly organised approach to the role. As a strong communicator, they will coordinate the provision of clear, timely information about the operation of the school to a diverse range of stakeholders, internally and externally.

The successful applicant will be a proactive leader and a strong decision-maker. They will be responsive, disciplined, a good problem solver and able to work to tight deadlines without compromising high standards or attention to detail. They will have proficient computer skills, sound time management and enjoy working in a busy team-based environment. This position requires strong interpersonal skills with a calm, confident and mature approach. The successful applicant will be committed to the full life of the school and be supportive of its Christian ethos.
