An opportunity in the northwest for a hardworking individual to join the Strahan team as a Lift Up Operator working a 7 days on, 7 days off roster.
**About the role**
The Lift Up Operator is responsible for operating machinery to safely and efficiently retrieve mortalities, while ensuring equipment is maintained to the highest standard. Demonstrating a commitment to health and safety, you will:
- Conduct daily lift-ups and maintain accurate records.
- Proactively plan to prevent disruptions to bathing operations.
- Accurately report mortalities and communicate any abnormalities to the Fish Performance Manager.
- Assist with various farm duties as needed.
This is a full-time role, operating on a 7 days on, 7 days off roster.
**About you**
- You ideally have a valid Coxswains certificate, including a diesel endorsement, and experience in fish farm operations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to build strong relationships.
- The capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Strong ability to adapt, deal with uncertainty, and remain calm while working in a changing environment.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies and procedures.
