About the role
The Special Maternity Service at Angliss Hospital provides exceptional care for vulnerable families during pregnancy and early parenthood. The role requires a suitable midwife to provide Antenatal care in the clinic setting as well as rotate to a role as midwife associated to our Healthy Mother Healthy Baby service.
About you
**To be successful in this role you will possess**:
Current Midwifery registration with AHPRA
Post Graduate qualifications in addiction studies or sexual health
Highly developed interpersonal skills including respectful communication
A strong commitment to high quality care
Demonstrated experience in trauma informed care.

Vaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role. An offer of employment is conditional on you providing evidence that you are currently vaccinated against COVID-19 with booster & Influenza, prior to commencing employment.

Selection Criteria
**Essential**: Current Midwifery Registration with AHPRA
**Essential**: Current Victorian Driver's licence
**Essential**: Recency of Practice in Antenatal Care with families who have social, emotional and mental health complexity..
**Desirable**: Experience or training in pregnancy care related to drug use, including tobacco in pregnancy
**Essential**: Demonstrated experience in providing trauma informed care in pregnancy and early parenthood.
**Essential**: Demonstrated experience of providing inclusive care for socially vulnerable families.
