Reporting to the Head of HR and joining the P&C Leadership team for Australia, this role will be responsible for driving regional reward strategy and, as a member of the global reward team, will take the lead role when establishing and aligning to global reward objectives.

This role will also lead the Australian-based HR Operations team in the direct management of continuous improvement and fundamental best practice in the people function to support the business as it scales.

You will:

- Lead the implementation of regional Total Reward Strategy - developing and maintaining total rewards policies and guidelines that are aligned to enterprise global strategy - while overseeing all cyclical remuneration events including annual rem review
- Lead the internal HR operations team in the development and implementation of scalable people solutions, oversee continuous improvement initiatives whilst mentoring and uplifting capability as required
- Collaborating across the People function to align business goals with HR programs and policies. You'll influence senior management to adapt total rewards offerings based on business needs and market practices

This position plays a key influential role in the development of a strategic remuneration function across Australia. Working closely with the Head of HR, the Executive team and global leaders to establish and execute on impactful and long-term objectives. You will also collaborate with a high-performing People team who enjoy fantastic credibility within an innovative and passionate culture.

We will be looking for:

- Previous experience in a Reward function - for example as a Remuneration Specialist or Total Reward Consultant or Lead - supporting and driving a combination of operational and strategic remuneration and benefits outcomes
- Leadership experience and can demonstrate the capability to mentor and build talent
- The ability to navigate a global business with demonstrated experience partnering with executive and senior stakeholders when influencing and effecting change
- Strong experience in remuneration governance within an APRA-regulated environment is highly desirable
