**The Role**
And now, we are looking for a Media and Sports Marketing Manager to lead and drive JD Sports Marketing within the media and sports industry.
As the Media and Sports Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Develop and execute comprehensive seasonal plans and strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, and revenue growth through media and sports partnerships
- Manage and negotiate media and sports sponsorships, and partnerships, including contract negotiations, activation, and ROI measurement
- Collaborate with internal and external partners, including agencies, vendors, and clubs, to create and execute compelling campaigns across multiple channels
- Develop and execute events, such as athlete appearances, content executions, and community outreach programs
- Monitor and report on marketing performance metrics, and adjust strategies as needed to improve results
- Work collaboratively with direct vendors of all major media brands and shopping centre groups across Australia and New Zealand
- Develop and execute all store opening media buys
- Daily communication and management of sports marketing agency
- Optimisation of current long-term partnerships and 365 deals, as well as proactive scoping of new opportunities
**Who You Are**
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
- 2-3+ years of experience in a media or sports marketing agency
- Experience in the retail industry is highly preferred but not essential
- Interest in sports fashion and youth culture
