About us

For over 25 years Mental Health Australia has advocated for mental health reform, and we continue to drive policy changes and proactively put mental health on the agenda.

We have over 130 members, including service providers, professional bodies, organisations representing people with mental ill-health, family, carers and supporters, researchers and state and territory mental health peak bodies.

As the national peak for mental health, we unite the mental health sector to present a cohesive voice to government, and provide practical policy solutions to influence decision-making, which in turn, improves the mental health system and the mental health of people in Australia. We work to strengthen the impact and influence of the mental health sector, and embed a human rights approach across the mental health system.

The role

This position is responsible for coordinating Mental Health Australia’s membership engagement and providing operational support for corporate governance, compliance and reporting for Mental Health Australia. It is a critical role that supports Mental Health Australia to effectively engage with, and add value, to our members, while also maintaining strong corporate governance.

This is a unique opportunity to become involved with a national peak body that unites the voices of the mental health sector and advocates for policies that improve mental health.

Your hard work and dedication will be rewarded with excellent remuneration, _Full-Time Equivalent base salary of $85,338 (pro rata for part-time hours)_, plus super, plus charity salary packaging options.
