Our client, a well-known and respected law firm are seeking an experienced, energetic, highly organised individual who is passionate about people & payroll process management.

**You will be responsible for**
- Two fortnightly end-to-end payroll runs for over 100 employees, ensuring compliance to company procedures
- Payroll adjustments, leave reconciliations, terminations and other associated payroll tasks
- Ensuring all new employees are correctly setup in a timely manner
- Review and update personnel records to facilitate the maintenance of accurate information of employees.
- Complete month end procedures of all deductions and superannuation
- Ensure compliance with all statutory payroll, financial, taxation and legal requirements
- Completion of monthly and yearly payroll tax return reconciliations
- Manage the payments of all worker’s compensation benefits across all states, annual reconciliation and lodgement
- Responding to internal and external stakeholder queries in an efficient and timely manner
- Maintaining confidentiality of payroll data with respect to privacy legislation

**About You**
- experienced payroll experience including award interpretation, payroll tax, superannuation,
- terminations and leave accruals
- Previous experience with their software is highly regarded
- A strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing
- A passion to provide excellence in customer service to internal clients
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with all employees related issues
- The ability to work as part of a team
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple and competing priorities
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high volume processing environment
- Computer literate in both excel and word

This is a permanent position 5 days per week but can have some flexibility on hours to accommodate your lifestyle.
