**About the Job**:
This role will be reporting directly to the Principal Consultant from who you will be able to learn from and develop alongside.

Organisations conducting analytical or diagnostic testing, pharmaceutical drug development, and contract research organisations will be your primary client base It is important that you understand or can quickly learn their processes for success in this role. **Services Offerings**:
**Strategy**:

- Go-To-Market Strategies: Tailoring to specific market segments and target customers. Market analysis and competitor research.
- Sales Strategy and Lead Generation Funnel Development.
- Market Research: Developing market value and product pricing research insights.
- Product Positioning and Messaging: Refining Value propositions, conducting messaging workshops, product differentiation from competitors.

**Implementation**:

- Project Management of program implementation.
- Sales Training and Coaching.
- Technology Implementation.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
- Qualify leads and manage opportunity pipeline in CRM system
- Consult with prospects to understand needs and present portfolio of services
- Negotiate pricing and contracts with procurement teams
- Work cross-functionally with teams like marketing, operations, and product to drive sales
- Develop and leverage relationships with partners, resellers, and distributors
- Prepare proposals, RFP responses, and presentations
- Represent company at trade shows and industry events
- Utilize knowledge of life sciences sector to conduct competitive analysis and market research to understand competing services and technologies
- Understand market positioning vs. competitors and report market conditions quarterly.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant life science, bioengineering, or business discipline is preferred or 4+ years of industry experience
- Masters in relevant life science discipline or MBA (preferred)
- 5 years of B2B Sales experience in life sciences, pharmaceutical development, or contracted services
- 3+ years of B2B Outside Sales experience
- Understanding of the Contract Research Organisation or Analytical Testing business model or Pharmaceutical Drug Development industry
- Proven ability to consistently meet and exceed sales quotas (references preferred)
- Experience conducting successful consultative, solutions-oriented sales calls
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex sales and technical data and to develop strategic and actionable business plans
- Experience managing complex, long sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
- Strategic thinker and planner with ability to balance strategy and execution
- Possesses advanced written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities, facilitating effective rapport-building with diverse stakeholders.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Team player mindset with ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- Valid driver’s licence essential
