The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP), the principal organisation representing the medical speciality of psychiatry in Australia and New Zealand, is seeking a Training Manager to join the Education and Training Department.

Responsible for the oversight and management of the operational functions of the Fellowship Program, Dual Fellowship Program and Certificates of Advanced Training. Manage a team of staff to oversee the implementation of training requirements, continuous quality improvement and compliance of the Fellowship Program and Certificates of Advanced Training.

**This role has a specific focus to**:

- Management of Training staff, day-to-day administration of Fellowship Program and associated processes, and Certificates of Advanced Training.
- Oversight and provision of timely and accurate advice and communications to key stakeholders to effectively implement Fellowship policies and procedures.
- Manage stakeholder inquiries and oversee resolution processes via investigation, escalation and/or consultation.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with all key stakeholders, in close collaboration with Training committees and associated Committees and Groups, and in consultation with the Senior Manager.
- Responsible for budget management and preparation of fiscal forecasts,
projecting and identifying project needs and changes requiring outlay.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in health, student administration, education or University setting, and/or equivalent workplace experience in health services, training and development or post-graduate education.
- Proven project and staff management experience in educational or health service environments.
- Experience in the development, implementation and review of policies and procedures in a training and education and/or a post-graduate regulatory environment.
- Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills to work collaboratively and consultatively with the College staff, relevant committees, working groups, and external agencies, as required.
- Demonstrated ability to research issues, formulate recommendations, implement decisions, review outcomes and develop appropriate documentation as required for committee consideration.
- An understanding of the Australian and/or New Zealand health system
or post-graduate medical education, or specialist medical training.
- Strong leadership and management skills and the ability to engage staff in the achievement of shared goals.
