There are an estimated 40.3 million victims of modern slavery globally. Women and girls are over-represented, nearly two-thirds of modern slavery victims are in the Asia-Pacific region. Modern slavery also occurs in Australia.

In the past twelve years of delivering the Support for Trafficked People Program, Red Cross has witnessed the strength and resilience of survirors of modern slavery and the positive impact a client centred, trauma informed and survivor lead support in the lives of survivors and their families.

**The opportunity**

This newly created role will develop partnerships with corporations, philanthropic organisations and stakeholders to amplify the response to modern slavery in a way the protects and support survivors.

You will work with our Partnerships team to support our Support for Trafficked People Program to grow partnerships that deliver both financial and non-financial value for the program and enhance response to modern slavery.

You will lead the development and delivery of training packages and training materials targeted to businesses as part of existing or new partnership agreements.

**What you will bring**
- Excellent relationship building skills with the ability to develop strong relationships with decisions makers
- Ability to lead and facilitate productive discussions with staff and stakeholders
- Well-developed planning, research and proposal/report writing skills and experience
- Strong project management, problem solving and analytical skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated experience in developing partnerships to deliver positive social impacts
- Superior interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge and/or previous work experience in modern slavery and human trafficking/forced labour would be well regarded
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in working with culturally appropriate and sensitive services supporting people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds
