**About the role**:
As a **Product Owner **for **Sentral **, you will be the voice of the customer. Reporting to the Head of Product, you will be a member of our product team and work as a key member within cross-functional development teams, consisting of designers, developers, and QA’s. You will be responsible for managing the product backlog, defining user stories and working with the development team and key stakeholders to build the best solutions for customers.
You will have a high degree of autonomy in working to steer the team's deliverables against our key initiatives. You will also be the glue between the customer facing aspects of the business - customer support, customer success, sales, and marketing teams.
As part of this team your other areas of focus will be:
- Understanding the problem and needs of the customers and stakeholders, and communicating this to the development teams both onshore and offshore;
- Breakdown problems and needs into Epics and user stories with clearly defined acceptance criteria;
- Validate solutions with customers throughout the development process;
- Train Customer Success and other internal stakeholders on changes to products;
- Write release notes for updates to customers;
- Work to continually enhance the product and feature set.

- Proven experience working as a Product Owner or Business Analyst within an agile environment, preferably scrum;
- Proven delivery across SaaS products for a software vendor;
- Inquisitive mindset to identify problems and craft solutions;
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally;
- Strong organisational skills with a problem solving mindset.
