Job Description

  • Guiding teams on the use of Scrum practices and values to delight customers
  • Facilitating Scrum events as needed
  • Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency
  • Supporting and educating the Product Owner, especially with respect to refining and managing the product backlog
  • Addressing team dynamics, ensuring a good relationship between the team and product owner as well as others outside the team
  • Removing impediments to the team's progress to its sprint commitments
  • Ensuring the team is fully functional and productive
  • Enabling close cooperation across all roles and functions

The Successful Applicant

A successful Scrum Master should have:

  • A strong understanding of the Scrum framework, including its roles, events, and artefacts
  • Excellent knowledge of agile methodologies
  • Strong facilitation, communication and conflict resolution skills
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or a related field
  • Scrum Master certification
  • Proven leadership abilities and a team player attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
