**What you'll be doing**
- The Occupational Therapy Assistant (OT) provides flexible, holistic and culturally sensitive health services to the community, to achieve better health outcomes.
- Under the guidance and supervision of the Occupational Therapist (OT), you will provide information, education and support to clients within the scope of practice of an Occupational Therapy / Allied Health Assistant.
- You will work with a range of Allied Health disciplines to provide administration and clinical support to support the care of clients in both inpatient and community contexts

**Qualifications - External**
- Must have Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistant/relevant qualification or willingness to undertake this training. Current unencumbered NSW driver’s licence and the ability and willingness to travel across sites for meetings and clinical care provision.
- Demonstrated previous experience working in a health environment, with a range of patient cohorts across inpatient, outpatient and/or community settings.
- Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills and computer literacy.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and cooperatively with health professionals in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and complete activities (including ability to work within scope of practice and seek assistance when required) as delegated by supervising Allied Health Professional.
- Demonstrated understanding of how the District is Caring for the Coast and how this role would contribute.

**What you'll be doing**

The Occupational Therapy Assistant provides flexible, holistic and culturally sensitive health services to the community, to achieve better health outcomes.
Under the guidance of the Occupational Therapist(OT), provides information, education and support to clients within the scope of practice of an Occupational Therapy / Allied Health Assistant.
Provide administration and clinical support to support the care of clients in both inpatient and community contexts
