**About the Role**
The State-wide Woman’s Mental Health Service is an innovative service developed in response to the Royal Commission Recommendations that there was a need to address gender-based harm within mental health settings and that dedicated gender-based services should be established.
**This opportunity will see you**:
- Be involved in an innovative, ground-breaking service delivery for the Victorian mental health sector.
- Work in a NEW venture providing mental health care and support for woman and those who identify as woman.
- Be part of a dedicated public-private partnership
- Work within a multidisciplinary team providing holistic and patient centred recovery focussed care.
- Work across inpatient and hospital in the home services
This role will predominantly involve providing high quality, direct social work services to our patients. The role will include providing personal counselling, discharge planning, community follow-up and working with families and support persons with the patient’s adjustment period.
**About You**
You love the challenge and satisfaction of working at the top level of practice in mental health care. You want to work in a safe environment where your therapeutic skills are highly regarded
You will also demonstrate:
- Degree in Social Work or similar relevant qualifications in relevant specialty Allied Health area
- Previous experience in a similar role desirable
- Ideally be an accredited member of AASW
- Proven ability to work independently within a diverse clinical team
- Demonstrated excellent organisational skills and effective communication skills

**How to apply**
