Our client is seeking to engage a Change and Communication Manager on a contract for 12 months with possible extension.

**About your role**

Reporting to the Senior Director Change and Transformation, you will work in close partnership and collaboration with key stakeholders, from senior executives to SMEs, to advise on, support and influence change management and communication that is critical to embedding and sustaining DDTS transformation outcomes.
This role has a strong advisory component where you will develop change management and communication plans, and provide guidance and support to project teams and business areas on how to implement them. You will also provide strategic communication support and guidance to senior executives as it relates to the program of work.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Lead the development of change management plans and material including newsletters, web content, presentations and other engaging artefacts
- Lead the provision of communication advice and support including developing communication plans and artefacts such as strategic messaging and talking points for executives
- Facilitate workshops and conduct impact assessments with stakeholders to inform planning
- Guide and coach stakeholders to build change management and communication capability, and help boost change management maturity
- Work closely in partnership and collaboration with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Track and report progress, and measure success including readiness surveys
- Develop and maintain a change management and communication toolkit

**Skills and experience**:

- Demonstrated experience leveraging formal change management methods, models and tools to develop tailored change management approaches that create stakeholder commitment and adoption
- Demonstrated experience with successfully managing, delivering and evaluating organisational change in a large complex government environment
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing contemporary and best practice communication strategies, targeted to intended audiences and informed by insights and evaluation
- Ability to think strategically, linking appropriate change delivery interventions to outcomes
- High level interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience in building strong relationships, liaising effectively with diverse stakeholders from senior executives to SMEs
- Flexibility, strong organisation skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities to successfully deliver in tight timeframes.

**Relevant qualifications in psychology, science, communications, business management, business administration or related field would be desirable.**

**Eligibility Requirements**:
