**What do you need?**
- Paid working with children check is essential
- First aid/CPR in an education and care setting is essential
- Motivated and passionate about working with children
- Positive attitude and the ability to be able to work in a team
- Ability to be flexible and hard-working
- Educational leader - Preferred Diploma or equivalent in childcare/education.
- Familiar with My Time My Place

**About the job**
- Permanent/part-time hours for before school, after school and vacation care
- Collaborate with educators and provide curriculum direction and guidance
- Programming vacation care as well as before and after school care
- Support educators to effectively implement the cycle of planning to enhance programs and practices
- Lead the development and implementation of an effective educational program in the service
- Be available for minimum 3 mornings a week and 4 afternoons a week (5 afternoons preferable)
- Bring your own skills and interests to our team to add to our program (creative artists, musicians, sports-people, cooking enthusiasts, story-tellers etc)
- Preferred if you have or are willing to be put through a diploma in child care services/education (centre will possibly fund part of these studies)

- You will be supported by a knowledgeable and professional Director as well as other perm staff.

- Experience in child care (OOSH) is recommended, however not essential
- Experience in XAP childcare software is a bonus
- A hands on educator who is enthusiastic about participating in activities with the children and staff
- You are passionate about providing an educational inclusive program
- Ability to work in a team environment
- You are confident to work independently, can be self-driven when necessary and show intiative
