Our client has a part-time 2-3 day a week position supporting the organisation’s funds management legal team during a 4-month parental leave contract. This role will suit a legal secretarial professional who has deep experience in contract law and/or funds management legal administration or could suit a more junior legal or Paralegal professional looking to grow their experience in the financial services legal space.

Gain excellent exposure to funds management legal administration including contract law, organisational documentation, managing the legal services register and government reporting requirements for the broader entity, reviewing and updating contracts and supporting the investment operations team with any AML/KYC requirements as needed.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support the legal team in partnership with internal stakeholder teams across the organisation with a broad range of legal administrative tasks;
- Collaborate on the operational responsibilities with the legal team delivering legal administrative support where required across contracts, policies and procedures, documentation, AML/KYC legal administration;
- Campaign awareness of the legal key concepts that the business continues to be compliant in legal matters in an organized and effective manner; AND
- Contribute to the maintenance and implementation of the legal, risk and compliance program.

**Technical Skills & Qualifications required include**:

- Law Student or experienced Paralegal from a large, medium or quality boutique law firm, or in-house legal team;
- Interest in funds management and financial services law ideally;
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal; AND
- Highly organised individual with strong attention to detail keen to work proactively in a small team environment.

This is a great opportunity for a Paralegal or Legal Secretarial professional to support a highly regarded funds management organisation while gaining deep exposure to a broad range of funds management legal work.
