**About the role**
Knox Private Hospital are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to work alongside our team of Administration staff in supporting the hospital.
This role will be Monday to Friday during normal working hours.
The successful applicant will be highly motivated, committed to a high standard of customer focused care, excellent time management and organisational skills. This is an opportunity for someone who thrives in vibrant and collaborative environment.
**About the hospital**
Located in Wantirna, Knox Private Hospital is a fully accredited tertiary facility with 334 beds, providing Emergency Services, Extensive Surgical Specialities, 14 bed ICU, 17 bed CCU, Medical, and a full range of Cardiac Services including two 24-hour Cardiac Catheter Laboratories.
The largest and most established private hospital in the eastern region of Victoria, Knox Private Hospital, specialises in diagnostic, elective and emergency cardiovascular care, including open heart surgery, 24/7. Utilising the latest technology and expertise, we offer a Cardiology Centre, orthopaedics, neurosurgery, urology and more.
**Responsibilities include**:
- Patient Billing and Receipting/Medicare rebate
- Maintain accurate records
- Coordinate with Doctors and staff from different departments
- Patient admission and discharges
- Coordinate with staff from other departments
- Complete other clerical tasks such as data entry
**Selection Criteria**:
- Authority to Work in Australia
- General clerical experience (hospital/medical practice setting preferred)
- Experience with Medical Software is desirable
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Accurate data entry skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
