As the Finance and Administration Officer, you will provide effective accounts payable, accounts receivable, travel administration and general administrative services to support the efficient, streamlined operation of the Finance team.Responsibilities include:

- Provide high-volume and systematic remittance of supplier and grant recipient payments in a timely manner
- Provide general support for all accounts payable queries
- Act as first point of contact for all travel requests and activity (both domestic and international)
- Input and maintain accurate data in accounting systems, ensuring that the correct coding is used to record transactions
- Prepare travel expenditure and cab charge reconciliation for assigned client group.
- Provide general administration assistance to the Finance team and temporary coverage of the Business Support Officer function at reception when necessary

**The Successful Applicant**:
To be a successful applicant, you will have:

- Previous professional experience gained in a high-volume administrative position
- Ability to manage time and resources to ensure that work is completed efficiently within deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail, in particular with numeracy skills
- Able to work under pressure
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Demonstrated customer service focus, with an understanding of how individual tasks relate to organisational effectiveness
