Davidson has partnered with a large QLD Government Department to find the next Principal Project Officer to become a valued member of a dedicated team making a real impact on the lives of Queenslanders. This Department is committed to providing safe, secure, and affordable homes for everyone, with a focus on fostering social and economic participation.
**About the Role**
On offer is a truly rewarding opportunity to contribute to the well-being of Queenslanders by ensuring access to safe and affordable homes. This is a 3-6 month fixed-term contract role with the possibility of extension or permanent appointment.
As a Principal Project Officer (AO7) you will play a crucial role in driving innovation and accountability in program development and management for the Department's programs related to the provision of housing and homelessness services. Working collaboratively with not-for-profit, for-profit, and government partners, you will contribute to the creation of an effective and integrated service system, improving long-term outcomes for clients.
- Key Responsibilities:_
- Provide professional and timely advice to inform strategy and solutions for complex problems.
- Research, prepare proposals, and collaborate with stakeholders on project plans, recommendations, submissions, and briefing papers of a complex nature.
- Guide the department's investment in social services through the development of robust, evidence-based housing assistance programs.
- Lead the creation of an integrated, effective, and responsive suite of housing and assistance programs.
- Inform the movement of investment towards flexible, integrated, and outcomes-focused responses.
- Lead the development and implementation of funding reform activities
