**About our client**
Our client is a well-established and highly regarded boutique law firm conveniently located in Melbourne’s CBD. An exciting career opportunity has now become available for an experienced and motivated Practice Manager to join their collegiate team.

**About the role**
Primarily you'll be responsible for financial accounting and overseeing all operational aspects of the firm to ensure the practice runs smoothly, and if you enjoy a "hands on" role, this one is for you

Some of your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to;
- Office accounting, such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, GST and BAS
- Administer the trust accounting and adhere to all relevant legislation
- Ensure all tax and statutory reporting deadlines are met
- Debtor management
- Manage outsourced IT contract and troubleshooting day-to-day issues
- Liaise with accountants, bank managers and the LIV
- Maintain responsibility for all firm's insurances
- Review and if required amend policies and procedures
- Liaise with Building Management regarding office/floor maintenance
- Other general administrative duties as required.

**About you**
Previous experience as a Practice Manager in a legal office is essential. Additionally you will also demonstrate;
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Proven experience in general and trust accounting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively liaise at all levels and build strong working relationships
- Well developed time management and organisational skills
