**About the opportunity**
Do you want help support and coordinate system and team clinical and operational activities? Then this will be the job for you. You will be working with a passionate multidisciplinary teams in a medical environment and be a critical team player in supporting the business administration manager in the delivery of an optimal administrative service including key responsibilities to internal projects and case management system support development.

You will be working across our three Forensic Medicine facilities in a team environment that is committed and passionate about what they do for communities of NSW and function for the the NSW Coroner for unexpected or unexplained reportable deaths.

**What you'll be doing**

This position works across the Clinical & Operational team by supporting and coordinating activities associated with Forensic Medicine and identified projects undertaking organisational and administrative tasks that contribute to the achievement of strategic and operational objectives. The Administration Support Officer is responsible for coordinating and delivering a range of functions to meet service delivery timelines including administrative support functions, secretariat support to workshops, staff & vendor meetings and providing business support activities.
- Demonstrated experience in providing a wide range of administrative functions, including the capacity to operate effectively with mínimal supervision, exercise independent judgement, discretion and initiative and meet deadlines in a complex healthcare setting
- Proven ability to effectively develop and implement administrative systems and processes to support the smooth functioning of teams with solid understanding of clinical and operational workflows including demonstrated knowledge and ability to support administrative tasks and function in a clinical setting.
- High level written and verbal communication skills and ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with staff and key stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience in problem solving and ability to respond, adapt and cope with changing priorities in the context of systems (FMIS, Visio, sharepoint, excel, word) administration
- Demonstrated ability to analyse and present data for review and action with experience in undertaking all aspects of policy process, development, implementation, review and evaluation
- Demonstrated experience in the preparation of project/service management documentation, reports and briefings.
- Demonstrated experience in the provision high level management support to project meetings, service meetings and committees, including preparation and appropriate distribution of documents such as agendas, minutes and supporting documents

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate (IM011 immunisation medical exemption form) certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.

Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
