**About this position**

Join our team at the City of Gosnells as a Seniors Program Assistant

Our dedicated Seniors Services team provides tailored programs and events for individuals aged 55 and above. As a vital member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of our programs. Responsibilities include assisting with setup, facilitating group activities, gathering feedback, and handling administrative duties.

For those eager to contribute to programs that enhance senior health, promote active aging, and engage the community, this role provides a fulfilling experience. Its primary focus is on delivering senior programs rather than providing direct aged care services.

**What we are looking for**

To be successful you must be able to demonstrate:

- Experience assisting in a range of community programs, particularly those targeted to seniors over 55 years
- Ability to work effectively as a team member
- Ability to work flexible hours which may include evenings and weekends
- Strong initiative and a positive attitude

**Essential requirements**
- Current driver's licence.
- Current First Aid qualifications
